Where the other chair has this timeless feel and this beautiful composition, here I miss all this.. It just somewhat busy with two weird vertical lines and nothing really to keep the interest..

muito boa composição abstrata! gostei muito do refinamento formal, do delicado equilíbrio e da economia de elementos. grande trabalho!

Interesting to see Gerhard's comment - I have almost the opposite feeling about this pair of photos. I like the sophistication of this composition very much - and the clean b/w conversion also appeals very much to me. What are those two vertical lines across the entire image?!

You have a very good look and eyes for photography. you have craeted a concept by this shot; this is valuable.

Hi Engstrom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its funny how our opinions are sooooo different! heheheh! That why we, humans, are so interesting, maybe! those vertical lines are a column in the corner of the room... I just could not avoid it!
Hugs dear friend!

This apparently simplistic comp tends to be dismissed on first look but it kind of grows on you.I feel the OOF chair is the focal point of the comp, did u intend it to be so?

Telmo Domingues   {K:9639} 8/2/2005
when I looked in my viewfinder I saw a beautiful light in the chair on the right... I liked the glows and the way they enhanced the sotness of the wood... That?s why I decided to put the right one in evidence...
:)

Stefan, but when I look at your portfolio I can see that you have an other outlook on photography than I have.. So it doesn't really surprise me. ;) (and which doesn't mean I don't like other or your photo's.. )
