About This one's from the Trent and Mersey Canal just north of Middlewich in Cheshire.

To be honest, except for one or 2 little sessions, the whole week was a photographic black spot - dull, overcast and wet.

it forced me to experiment more than ever.

I really like this one - I put the tripod on the roof of the boat, put 6 stops worth of filters over the lens and set the aperture to F22 - then took a light reading from, the sky - that gave me 25 seconds!!!!!

Set on Manual I just left it at that and as we went along took a few shots at that setting - the light never changed from "dull as chuff".

This is a fave because of the corner and the circular motion it gives.

went mono cause there was no colour!!

Blinder of a shot Ade! If this doesn't get an award there is no justice in the world...

Fantastic shot!!!

Absolutely excellent shot, I love the description of planning with filters. Your work is an inspiration to me. (And i've rode my pushbike along that canal many times, it's a lovely place in the sun!)

I'm amazed by your talent. I can relate to your bio as i also started out in photography with a camcorder in 1999 and now have the Caonon EOS 10D. I' like if you would take a look at my portfolio to see what you think. You have an awesome one yourself. Regards, Aimee'
