Many things to comment on this shot.
the loneliness of the three cabans. the sadness transmitted by the b/w the break of uniformity of the black line the stylish vertical lines of the front walls
It has 'something'...

Fabrice, I really like the feel of this. It has a certain 'Je ne sais quoi' as they say in England! I like the contours of the roof lines, the starkness of the white walls and the symmetrical composition which is broken by the differing bases on these huts. The vertical lines provide a superb counterpoint to the strong horizon. There is definitely a strong feeling of being deserted, alone in a vast emptiness of sand. Wonderful image mon vieux!

I know what you mean with the breaking part...if looking at toy houses I would swap position one with two to make it more balanced... ;)
not really possible...
could be a start of a serie á la Hilla and Bernd Becher...
Cheers, Verena

This are the pictures I like the most.As you said, simple but strong and beautiful in B&W. If it's disturbing you the black plank, you can make it white in PS, but it's not disturbing me. Regards, Femke

The interruption in pattern by the black and white planks is what makes this sing in my view. This is just right and very enjoyable. Peaceful. Antonia.

Eh!

It is precisely what you allude in the ?about? that makes this compelling. Great visual elegance and compositional tact - which is what often happens with your photography. Always a treat to stop here Fabrice! I must visit more often? ;-)

I too love the simplicity of this image. It is interesting how there seems to be a lack of depth in this image the huts appear to lay flat against the background sky..... nice work.
