wow. wow. what a great red color dear Arwa. great first bird photo. love the shining in its eyes, but only one suggestion - I would remove/crop the wood/line at the bottom of the photo :)

Really? Don?t you think its framing the bird? Or maybe it?s a bit sharp so it distract from the bird? I would love to hear why you think I should crop it!

Nice first post of a bird. The bird's color is a real eye catcher, and the uniform background is great. Nice sharpness around the eye where it should be. The branch on the left provides some balance, but the branch (?) at the bottom is a big distraction. The crop that B:)liana posted is an improvement, but I think the bird was just not in a very good position to shoot it. I look forward to your next bird posts.

Hi there Morgan, cant remember the sitting exactly but the light was amazing a bit cloudy so the light was filtered and all I had to do was focus and press the shutter, I did adjust the saturation using PS
i might have used selective coloring option as i like to saturate each color by its own
