Hey, you know what Jeanette, I hesitated on your previous picture to ask you if you tried such image in B&W mode.. And here is the result. I like it very much with the different tones of the sky which gives rise to different contrast on the silhouettes.; This is really beautiful.

Yes, it is a bit unfortunate that the sky was not the other way around: dark at the bottom left (thus covering up that foot) and light at the top right, thus giving us a great contrasting silhouette of the nearest person.
Still, a very good idea and very well executed. You can't control the weather...

I see what you mean Angelo - it?s more "logic" and as the "rules" says to have it dark in the left corner and light in the right corner, but as you said i can?t control the weather. Also, it?s nice to "breake" the rules sometimes - and more, it get more "scary in this way i think. At least in my opinion!

Really? Don't think so, Jeanette... It's a great shot, and the darkness has just about enough contrast with the silhouet to make the individual shapes distinguishable. Besides, the darkenss also creates an element of harmony within the shot and it fits with the overall feel of the composition. I think it's an excellent choice.

While in Lisbon I met with my friend Pedro Murias, http://www.usefilm.com/image/882555.html a photographer I had initial known true Usefilm? we met on several occasions, had some meals, went out together on ?photographic expeditions?. Besides being a wonderful fellow and a fine photographer Pedro is a professional writer, a culture vulture, an admirer of fine art?
Once sitting in café chatting about some of the art and artists of Usefilm, Pedro asked me if I was aware of the amazing work of Jeanette Hägglund, a Swedish woman, he said, who not only puts out ?consistently first class work? but also a woman who?s incredibly beautiful?
Anyway I thought you may get a smile over what some boys, sometimes, talk about in Lisbon cafés ? Art and Beautiful Women!

I can only gape in admiration... a fantastic image that has the quality of classic photographs. I loved this ride as a child. I believe it was called the Yo-Yo. I love this abstract. The shilhouettes against the cloudy sky look great. Yes a little dark in the upper right hand corner, but at the same time the darkness works well here as if to give the viewer a feeling of the unknown around the corner. Marvelous. Into my favorites and a big SEVEN PLUS!

Excellent composition. The people arrive from lower left corner and seem to be ejected out of the frame on the upper right, very powerful and interesting effect. The dramatic sky gives an atmosphere of something imminent and unexpected to happen. Very good job!
