I like the way you have the tree leaning into the shot. The square-ish crop suits the picture very well and the colours are all very complimentary.

Talking about colours, I wish the saturation was a bit higher, and perhaps also the contrast. But I am known for having a penchant for high contrast, so take that with a pinch of salt.

I do get the feeling of loneliness, but to enhance it I think you could step back a bit and give the tree more space to the left and above it, really constrain it into a corner.

I've received comments regarding saturation in this particular picture and it really makes sense. I've tried photoshop, but failed to acheive what I want.
Anyway,your comment will always be considered in my next "desert" shooting. maybe in winter coz it's damn burning this time out there:)

I love your composition here. I think I might clone out that bit of weeds near the shadow just to give it a cleaner look. I also might add a touch of contrast. This is a very nice shot-congratulations.

You know, these trees can survive this climate with no problem at all. As a matter of fact they are planted in our own garden in an urban city. The weather is just right for them.

I did not know trees grew in the desert. Wonderful composition Omair. The colors are very natural. Well seen. For the crop, I'd give it a tiny bit more room from the top. Thanks for your lovely comment on mine.

My favorite shot from your portfolio. I agree with some others that a bit more saturation would help bring out the colours - its a little overexposed for me. The composition is spot on, though.

I see that you employed the 'rule of thirds' very well in this image! Your photo displayed peace, serene and quiet - attributes which I like. I have never been to a desert ( but my already did! ) and cannot imagine how it feels!
