About The Pic du Midi d'Ossau from another angle and in different light. I used an 81B warm-up filter and a polariser. The shadows across the face of the mountain and in the fissures in the foreground limestone give the image its depth.

reminds me of a Lassie film for some reason! Well segmented composition. The polariser did the clouds justice too.

Michael Kanemoto   {K:22106} 8/4/2005
Looks wider than a 50 mm shot, but in this case that is a wonderful thing - wonderful recession into space with foreground and background details.

great work Barry. Nicely exposed and good composition and sense of depth. A very beautiful part of France,

Chris
