About Taken at 17mm wide to get as much as possible. Sunny days are very rare at this place, but if you take enough trips, eventually you get blue skies. Opinions are always appreciated.

Bela paisagem. Saturação de cores na medida me agrada. Parabéns.

Great camera, super film, fantastic location... and such a luscious photgraph. Everything seems to be going your way. You make me envious of all these pluses. Take care and bring on more of the same. (lots and lots more).

The colors are surreal.

What a combination. F5 with Velvia 50. Brings out the best shot always ! Brilliant colours.

I have a similar shot with the same tree creeping into my photo. I regret not being able to change locations enough to get this shot less that tree. I can't help but be distracted by it in your shot too. If you haven't already hiking down from the other side to the beach below is great. As for your photo the white water seems a bit over exposed. I hope it was your scan. If so I'd just take the edge of by burning that section of your scan. Beautiful landscape!

All comments are always appreciated. Jim, if the tree you are referring to is the one on the upper left corner, then I disagree with you in that it is a distraction. It is actually there by choice and in my opinion effectively helps frame the scene (as do the bushes in the lower left and right) taking the viewers eye from the upper-left then downward, toward the right and out to the distant ocean. I am perhaps not so sure about that annoying branches in the lower right corner however... I could perhaps clone those.

The white water has more than enough detail in it as well, from my experience. And out here in Hawaii, I have a lot of experience with that issue. If you look carefully you will notice plenty of colored patches. When white water/highlights are truly blown out, it's just one band of bright white. Not the case here at all. Here is an attached version of blown lights. Was actually not that easy to do since there really is plenty of detail in my opinion. Thanks for taking the time and sharing your thoughts though. This is how we learn. Aloha

blown-out highlights
