About On a biking tour, had only my 17-40 zoom but wanted maximal FOV and DOF: five landscape shots, handheld (circular polarizer, ISO 200; 1/60 sec to 1/320 sec f:5.6). Stitched vertically with PanoTools as 16bit TIFFs

This has been a wonderful mini series, Carsten.
You've caught some 'magical light' with this one ~ the hi-res version must look really great!
Best regards, Chris

Wonderful landscape, great tones with an incredible tranquility.

Hi Carsten,

while I like the overall depth composing, I guess it would be great to have a lower angle and a bit more of the sky ;-) you've done well with the sharpness.

best wishes,
Thilo

La luce è perfetta, bella anche la profondità.

Eine herrliche Szene. Ich habe PanoTools noch nicht probiert. Offensichtlich es functioniert sehr gut. Ein wahres Kunstwerk haben Sie hier geschafft!

This one seems to extend away from the viewer forever. A clever composition, at first I thought the foreground could do with slightly more prominence but the more I look at it the less I feel it needs it. You might clone out the bit of flare in the background.

Carsten Ranke   {K:14453} 8/9/2005
Barry, thank you for pointing out the flare, will clone that out in the original !

Mary Brown   {K:67788} 8/10/2005
This is a wonderful composition. I love the red flowers in the front and then how it goes on so far into the distance as though there is no end. Beautiful.

The light in those flowers is so vibrant, Carsten. This one is very tall already, but I want more sky. Guess the sun precluded that option. Antonia

Regards.
