About ......stopped by Lake Liddell on the way home from Sydney yesterday and managed to take a lot of pretty ordinary shots of this piece of industry of which this was, I thought, the least offensive. It is Liddell power station and comes with my humble apology to Kelly for tramping through her patch without inviting her along......it won't happen again.

ta Kel....you know how it is when you go somewhere to see somebody and they're not there, well, it happened to me today and I was not pleased.......in fact I did a note to the punters (forum) about this but they probably won't know what I'm on about....! cheers, david

Hey David you have made something so ugly seem almost pretty...
There is a power station close to me never thought of looking for a shot might give it a try sometime...

I know this place & you came through Muswellbrook & didn't let us know, this is my favourite spot for taking photos, all my fishing silhouettes are taken out there, & many others,
Maybe next time we will meet.
Cheers Al.

Hi David, it's a big patch :) Kel would gladly share it with you....and Alison too :) and well me too....This is a great picture of Liddell...my father in law works there, and has nagged me for ages to get him a good picture!!! I think you've beaten me to it, lol....lovely perspective...you really managed to make it look good!
Cheers,
Liz

Liz, thank you for the comment, this place needs to be viewed with suspicion so approach quietly through the bush, awesome, quickly, take a snap before the armed patrol boat sees us.......I don't know what I am on about either!!! cheers, david.

Hi Alison, I wasn't born in Muswellbrook but I got there as quick as I could!.....the Valley is such an interesting place, have you seen the chimney stack at the old abattoir at Aberdeen, we had a Steeple Jack rebuild that while I worked down there a few years ago.....about fifty thousand dollars worth and the old plant closed a few months later. cheers, david
