I don't think so Pat if your intent was to bring out her face! I like it...ART! I think sometimes people forget that there is art in all of this too! :)

Toshi    {K:12024} 8/10/2005
Great lighting and beautiful portrait shot. Very good composition too! Nice shot!

Dina Marie   {K:9657} 8/10/2005
no, you didn't go too far at all. i love it. it is rich and moody.

Liz Wallis   {K:25472} 8/10/2005
A beautiful portrait Pat, very strong in tones and composition, absolutely lovely. :)

too far? too far of what? I really love the look of this one! Honestly! Its a wonderful, classic looking portrait. The only thing to nitpick would be her hair. A little more visible structure would help to bring it back.
Awesome portrait, Pat! Pretty soon you can't put her in the "children" category :)

Amanda Keeys   {K:9349} 8/10/2005
Too far in what way? I love the warm golden toning. This is SOOOO rich.

Fantastic! She's a beauty - I love the soft, glowy effect here, though I agree with David and might back off on the hair a tad. Love the rich toning.

Dear Pat,

Too far! What way?
I like it, it's way different than your other pictures, like David I would like too se more detail in her hair. This is ART...

Probably.

Michael Grace-Martin   {K:10283} 8/10/2005
Sorry, I couldn't help it..;) I think I would burn in her face just a little to pick up a little more tonality/detail. But mostly it's a beautiful and compelling shot!

Pat Fruen   {K:12073} 8/10/2005
Mike, you're killing me here. :)

Beautiful composition, the background distracts a tad but very nicely done.

Jan .   {K:8693} 8/11/2005
Wow Pat, you're doing beautiful, unique work these days! This is just gorgeous, but I think I would also like to see a little more tonality in her face, just enough to bring some of the curves back. I truly LOVE everything else about it.

Janet B   {K:16139} 8/11/2005
This is perfect! Wouldn't change a thing! Love the composition and tones...beautiful!
