Hya Petros, Love the close crop in this one. It shows the essence, leaving out the peripherals. The bubbly soda around the strawberries create a strong dynamic element, and I do like the way they seem to adhere to the "impurities" on the berries. Leaving in the miniscus (ya know, the surface of the soda) adds the finishing touch, IMO.
Tecnically, the crispness of the tones is very lifelike and well saturated. Just the way I like it...:) I do think the blown out background reduces the contrast between the white and the translucent bubbles a bit, allowing them to fade out. Local sharpening / masking to revive the contrast in those areas could work, but might also make it look a bit smudgy, if you know what I mean.
The idea behind it is super strong, though, and I'll give you full marks for that. WOuld love to see this one with a tilt and / or a stimulated wave in the miniscus. Eventhough that could make it too "staged", it could also put more emphasis on the separation between fluid and air as well as the dynamism.
Very impressive shot, and a very creative concept, one to keep in mind if some goof asks me to take a shot of strawberries drowned in soda.... Might have to open a bottle of champagne...:)

Love this. My only little nits are the bright areas between the berries are a little too bright, there's a few bubbles there that kinda get lost. The other is that I'm wanting a tad more space at the top. I like the composition of this one.

That's an idea that would be worth playing around with, not that you haven't already produced a very strong image.
I wonder what effect would be produced if the photo was taken as another strawberry was dropped into the glass, or doing something similar with other fruits.
