A great time must have been had by all who came to the UF trip to Northumberland. What a great photo this is. The blue sky and the clouds makes for a great contrast with the grass below. The castle is amazing - as is this photo.

Rona K **   {K:5535} 8/13/2005

Okay, I'm going to have to experiment with my polarizing filter. (You did ue it for this, right?) I like the richness it gives to the sky. Beautiful shot, Mark.

Gorgeous photograph Marky, yes we will definitely have to have another visit soon :-)

Thanks again mate.

Best wishes,
Steve

Eric Peterson   {K:4210} 8/14/2005
The oversaturated colors work well in this image. The sky adds drama and is well worth the amount of the frame it occupies.

Nice perspective on this, much photographed castle, Marky. Great cloud shadowing on the upper castle. The only problem is, you've over-saturated the green lawn. For me, it's overpowering, and distracts my attention from the excellent, overall image.

The sky and castle are superbly detailed. You've given the impression of a huge sky, and it's really effective as a vertical wide-angle.

Stunning marra!

Colin

Good picture!
Good composition & perspective!
But I agree with Colin! Too much photoshop ruin this picture!
As a picture 7/7,
As a final result 5/7
Hey people do not demolish good pictures with PS!

Fantastic Work!! The colors really complement eatchother very well done!

Melisa Meyers   {K:9532} 9/23/2005
Fantastic Mark! I like the deep saturation on this shot. The green is rather bright but I think with the strong blue sky it is a nice balance and gives the image a vivid display. I also really like your choice to go portrait with a high area of sky. Excellent 7+!

Alessandro Ghezzi   {K:163} 9/27/2005
Is this foto real or is heavily PS edited? With colors so unnatural I'm undecided about this shot, I can't tell if I like it or not

Piero Somma   {K:13397} 11/11/2005
fantastic...no more words....!
ciao
