About I've been trying to 'mess up'(for lack of a better word) my photo - inspired by Morgan Estills' 'Lost and Forgotten', I probably didn't choose the right image to start with - but I picked it because my mum didn't like the original - she said it looks like Janet's after more money!
I least I've made myself a nice sellotape brush :)
- and I tried to make her face mimic the picture on her t-shirt!

Great work, Sally!!! One thing that might add to the realism would be to add a slight shadow to it. I like the touch that the tape adds. 7/7

You're quite right - wish I'd thought of that!

Colin Cartwright   {K:15699} 8/18/2005
Great perspective and creativity, Sally! You've got the face similar to that of the tee shirt, nicely. 7!

Wish I could be as creative as this! photoart hurts my head.

First, it was surely a good idea to listen to your mum ;-) I ask my wife or my daughter, and their judgment is often hard to bear but helpful...
Joking aside, you have remarkable skills with PS, a very good job, creative and original !
Cheers
Carsten

Great shot, very creative and very effective. You could send this to Alamy (www.alamy.com) and they'd probably get quite a bit of demand for it in advertising, etc.

Hi Sally,

this is awesome cool stuff... I'm not sure if this is the right project, but the image IS right =) The special technique, the flip, the face treatment... this fits very well together. congrats on the special portrait.

best wishes, Thilo

sally, i dig it! love the near-far size relationships. precisely why i'm fascinated with wide-angles ;^) i'm not familiar with 'lost & forgotten' but i think you pulled it off. well done!

Pretty evocative and innovative picture, Sally, I also like the tilted positioning. Very dynamic, just as the perspectivic shortening on the image. Good work: György
