About I am not sure what this flowers name is. It grows wild along our roads in places. The bug is an added attraction.

What a beautiful composition Don.
The deep DOF with yet the soft background is awesome.
The natural green colors for the background really set the mood here allowing the yellow flowers to jump right out !
This shot reminds me of a Linn Curry image oob ( out of bounds ) only without the oob.
The bee ? Wasp is the kicker :)
Very well done off to my favorites.
Lee

Absolutely beautiful, and well executed!

Dave Stacey   {K:121052} 8/14/2005
I like your composition, Don, and nice capture of the details. The DOF is effective, the way the rest of the flowers fade away into the background.
Dave.

the flowers are so delicate and this shot results in a beatiful one; love the green cast overall in the shot; I wonder why you cropped it 4:3 instead of natural 3:2 from your D70

I try to crop in the camera but it don't always work out like it want. When I see it on the screen I do my final crop to whatever size it comes out. Thanks for your great comments. Don.

Wonderful shot!!! Love the green/yellow combo, super DOF, detail and great composition... well done!!! Nice bonus that 'bugger' and they do look like Mr. C, Mrs. C and the kids..... LOL!!!!

I don't have a clue what they are, but I like them. And you've captured this so well Don.

Love the natural diagonal composition here.
And fantastic details.

Very nice work,
Lori ;)
