Hi Thilo,

Good idea to add the noise for a grainy film effect. Like your bicycle photo a few days ago, this one is composed very well to draw the viewer into the stage. The position of the girl on the shoulders and the NY Yankees hat are in perfect position.

I think they "had the time of their life"

Great capture, especially since no cams allowed!! You can feel the ambience of the event..

Trish McCoy   {K:20866} 8/14/2005

This is aweseome, especially for a spycam! This could easily be a Green Day poster! VERY COOL!

Jeff Reed   {K:-355} 8/15/2005
Great concert shot! Nice B&W contrast.

I feel that i want to escape, to be in this crowd... gived me that feeling. But it was just an imagined feeling!!!! Nice capture Thilo!

No mobile phones, even?

Good capture.

At least they are not giving the middle-finger :)

A classic piece of photo-journalism. Very well framed--especially in the moment. Congrats . . .

Cheers,

Hi Jeanette,

Partially. I sent you an e-mail explaining.

It is a mystery to me why so many bands and artists want to ban cameras from their concerts... Good work from the Bayer brothers covert concert photography operation.

Kevin Collier   {K:19076} 8/16/2005
I like it - what makes the shot work for me is your treatment of the Greenday banner and the lone person higher than the rest - good tones too. K

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 8/16/2005
Hi Melanie,

thanks a lot for the kind feedback ;-)

Great!

Oh yeah, the restrictions on the passionate photographer on concerts sucks, but the real pro makes the best out of every situation, right?
Therefore! Thumbs up!!!
