About This was our pet I hand reared him from about 3 weeks old I called him chopper because of what he did to my fingers trying to feed him he sang talked even called the dogs and told them to sit down, he was killed not long ago, this photo was taken in my garden they are wonderful friends..

Beautiful shot of a beautiful bird, Tracey. I have never heard of a Lorikeet before. What happened to him? Bet that was funny to see him call the dogs and tell them to sit! Would have loved to see that!

hello Sameh thankyou for your kind words, I know what you mean about the shrub but it actually looks like that its an Australian native called a bottlebrush it attracts many honey eating birds which the Lorikeet is, thanks again..Tracey
