Very nice conversion Mary! This B&W version is perfect, a great contrast between dark and light and it helps show the shadows better. Great work!

Sameh Odeh   {K:4717} 8/15/2005
Perfect for the project, the B&W give the shadows more attractive scene.
Well done Mari ...

david cunningham   {K:8255} 8/15/2005
mary... definitely like it better in b&w. i hope you don't mind my suggestions but i would sharpen it just a bit more to remove a bit of the blur in the boys face and bump the curves a bit to really bring out the shadows on the ground. it is the shadows that make this shot and i think you should emphasize them a bit more... d

Kiarang Alaei   {K:49007} 8/16/2005
Tis works much better, bravo.in this version the over expose seems more, but anyway, not a big prob. still that looking to the camera is distract!

I find it better in B&W. I like the aligment, the lines and the shadows, and the perspective. All these give rise to a nice composition.
Cheers
