Like very much the different colors to the truck. Two things, wish image were sharper & a little more saturation to the colors. I believe this would look awesome converted to grayscale (b&w) & would take the abstract up a notch. Otherwise a great shot Tabitha, cheers.

Thanks Roland, interesting as i saturated this an unmasked sharpen alittle, i was tempted to bump it up more, but thought it would be to obvious.. Ive yet to delve into Blk&Wht, an grayscale, i will play with this in grayscale thanks

Thanks Mike it is fun trying to show the character or beauty in these old dilapidated cars, this one being mainly ways of cropping particulars when taking the pics, as the garage is behind and loads of late model cars were parked up around it

Hi Tabitha, I always like this type of photo, because of the combination of textures, materials and the fading, weatherbeaten tones of the paint. This is no exception, and I like the composition. Also, the different hues and textures are very well captured. Very nice work. Only perhaps a bit more specific lighting could've pushed the impact of this photo....

PS - I agree partially with Ronald Lacson re: increased sharpening, but I wouldn't change the colors, or the contrast, they are perfect, you risk making it too overprocessed. Now it all looks natural.

Tabitha - I love this one. As you suspected, I dig weathered surfaces and colours that often result. Did you think about upping sharpness a bit because the potential textures in that image I'd have loved to have seen brought out a tad more? Nice work!

Thanks Anthony, anything dilapidated I enjoy taking pics of.. rewarding stuff finding stacks a rust. I did play with these lots and did sharpen but didnt want to be to obvious, but your right it enhances all the yummy details better! next time I wont be so shy! :O)

Hi Bryce, aw thanks for your encouraging comment!.. yip U should get out there an drive around looking for old trucks, there's bound to be swags of them tucked away in old barns!! Dont be shy in asking onwers, I drove right past this at a mechanics, right back around the roundabout to ask for permission to take the pics, a year later i entered one of this series in a colour comp, and won 1st prize! :O) sooo Im glad i too took the plunge!! lol ;O)
