Hya Mr. Holmes, There's something about this shot that is pure3 power. Not only those cool grey but formost piercing eyes, but also the (what I like to believe) hidden smile, betrayed by the eyes. Excellent capture, although perhaps a bit on the soft side of the scale. Superb tones, though.

Stunning portrait.
She has the most wonderful blue eyes. The fact that you can only she her eyes. It makes this photograph very mysterious and sexy. Colors and details are very nice. I aslo like the skin tones although the forehead does show some highlights.

The eyes are a key to the soul - or so they say. As i was shooting i instictively kept going to her eyes cos they were so expressive so i though i would focus solely on them by hiding the rest of her:) glad you like!

This photo reminded me Steve McCurry's great portrait of an Afganian Girl, shot in Peshawar, Pakistan in 1984, published in National Geographic..
Your model is of course too much westerner.. But both are emotional, impressive..
