Good work. The silhouettes are powerful, and the textures of wet sand and the sea are the perfect foil for those impenetrable blacks.

I like the tones Paul and the strong diagonal of the shoreline leading the eye into the image...I also like that we can see the vanishing point...nice silhouettes, the untouched sand and the lighting are also very well done...a wonderful image...:):)Linda

Hi Paul,
sometimes, BW shots should be overdone. I think this one is great with the UBERbold outcome. the attractiveness is actually coming from the strong dark parts. I love that sparkling sand parts and the sand textures. great work and a fine entry for the project.

By the way if you have a home, just plant a bunch of flowers that hummingbirds like, and put up a sugar water feeder, within days you will have plenty of hummers to photograph.

The density of the blacks gives depth to the image, although I would've dodge just a little in the foreground sand (Lower Left). Overall a bold composition , nice one Paul, best wishes.

Hi Paul, nice shot. great details in the sand which looks really good in B&W. I'm not too sure about the lack of detail in the cliff part, but that is a matter of taste. But still you've insopired me to try some B&W when i'm next down at the beach :)
