Even though I have NONE myself, being told "butterfly on flower" shot, I wouldn't tend to get too excited. There are so many great shots, but not a great deal of variation. This is very unique and quite artistic. I'd love to learn a little about the setup and settings as a learning tool, white background works so well here.

A photo disguised as a graphic piece? Or the other way around? What matters is how good this is Arwa - and it is very good! I?m not big on ?macro? images generally but this shot goes beyond the ?wow? one gets from seeing the tiny world enlarged - this is lyrical, yes, and so very delicate - like your own nature, I imagine!

Arwa,Dragonfiles and BUTTERFLIES are among my favourite subjects,on others people,s photograph.
This is one of the best macro I have seen today on USE.We call this one in the Netherlands (LANDKAARTJE( But I don,t realy now the englisch name for this! Thank you so mch for leaving a comment in my portofolio.

This image was taken at a closed butterfly house, the light conditions weren?t so great, so I tried to capture silhouette for this project by getting low and focusing on the butterfly against the bright windows
PS works: added contrast and saturation to bring out the red color of the flowers, I cant recall the exposure it been a while
