It seems that flash has been used and it kills it for me. If it hasn't I apologise.

Kyle Miller   {K:109} 8/17/2005
So what is the guy in the picture shooting with?

Dave Stacey   {K:121052} 8/17/2005
Nice shot of the shooter getting the shot, Darlene!
Dave.

He's shooting with a Canon 20D and I think a 300/4 lens, thanks for the comment Kyle. Darlene

Great shot Darlene,

There are plenty of (BIG) spiders at the lake to capture

Ahhh...I hate spiders, but I'd take them on in a nanosecond if it meant I could go on a shooting with you, Darlene.

Terrific shot. I think I'm coveting his camera too.

David Chauvin   {K:200} 8/18/2005
Darlene,,,,,I think that's the first time I've seen Carl with less than a 500mm! Are there lots of argiopes at the lake?

Paul Lara   {K:81886} 8/18/2005
ok, now I have lens-envy. ;0

Darlene Boucher   {K:15649} 8/18/2005
Your right Danny, a flash was used. Next time I'll try it without flash, thanks so much for your comment, it is very much appreciate! Darlene

Darlene Boucher   {K:15649} 8/18/2005
And boy did this guy get the shot......he got a bunch of good shots I can promise you! Thanks for comment Dave!

Darlene Boucher   {K:15649} 8/18/2005
Well hello David! Is that what they're called? If it is there are plenty, more than enough to go around! Those we show were to the left of the landing where the large log is across the little inlet. Carl and I had a great time shooting macro, I have a 300/4 and and extention tube and carl had a couple of tubes so we could really get up close and personal! We had a great time with these guys, hope to see you out there soon! Darlene

I like shots of shooters shootin'. This is a good one, and that is some serious gear he's got there!

Best regards,
--George

His equipment is impressive, I like the size of the lens for a spider shot, :) but maybe you don't want to get too close. Alison

Always like to see Photographers in action. He is using the coveted 300 which I still haven't ordered ;-)
