About Practicing with my camera again, and this time the shadow was deliberate. Focus was on the lower flower on the right and part of the flower to the left of that one. I liked the harlequin-type effect. What do you think? Honest comments please.

I love it! You are really doing a nice job with the white flowers Jan. I think the focus is just right on this. Nice diagonal b/g. Good job.

Mom, Keep your hammer out....Because you hit the nail on the head with this on, I really like how it flows from left to right...keeping the attention on the left flower, while allowing the others to be seen.

Wtih the darker BG I Love how the flowers flow into the lighting!
Congrats

This shows these blooms well. My son-in-law got some flowers for his new daughter like these. SO far, I am not happy with the pictures I've taken of them. Maybe looking at yours again will point me in the right direction.

Thanks for all of your comments on my recent uploads. Glad to have you back, missed you - and I AM looking forward to seeing some pictures of that new Grandbaby! Will try and get the file from the CD and look for the camera settings that I used to do these if you think it might help. My computer is still not behaving the way it should, but did want to thank you for taking the time to look at my shots! Jan
