Hi Nigel, I like the idea of your project. Unique and interesting. I feel that the B&W conversion (or did you do it in the camera?) could be a little stronger so i tried something for you. I hope you don't mind. Here is my version.

This is more impressive than the colour one....
Very nice effects well done..
Also Neil version is very good one,but it gets more noisy after conversion...

Cheers for the comments neil, this is a different photograph to the colour version. put in the noise for more effect, and liked the different angle, as it's part of a series of photographs. I like your B+W verson also
