Nice shot, Tracey. The fungus is a bit blown out...but if you find the color version with more detail just try a different conversion to see if that helps. Otherwise great photo with nice textures!

Any way it's well composed and cropped, and i cannot say very nice colours because it's B&W ...
but the effect is impressive...
i wish you still have the colour version, because i'd like to see the fungus more colourful...

Trace, yes, the fungus is a bit blown out, and this is probably one of those shots that just needs to played with until you get it the way you want it...Interesting capture with an abstract nature...In the end it's all how you see it that counts..:)

Hey Liz, Yes with this I was not sure what I thought except the very white fungas was very much whiter, it was quiet dark, anyway I needed comments thankyou for yours, I kept it as was but now have tried to darken fungas but it does not want to do it, want to have a try, and you to Marty if you like just no frames Lol...

See if this is ok? I just used the laso tool to out line the fungus and then took the brightness out of the circle...
I hope you like it and I didn't even use a frame... lol
