i tried catching this same storm last night from near the illinois/wisconsin border. your view was much better i see. great shot!

Thanks for your comments guys. I had so little battery power left in my camera, i had to keep charging it for a minute and start clicking at those lightning like crazy. I missed some really good ones in between. I hope I can take better shots next time. Thanks for looking at this one.

Thanks Riny. YOur comments are really encouraging. Just saw some your photos. I liked the flies in particular. If you can let me know how do you manage to get them still? I ahve been trying to capture these for sometime, and everytime they are captured with some movement. Is it because I donot have IS in my lens? or am i missing something. Really appreciate your comments.
