It's a beautiful shot. The DOF is very good, both the bug and the middle of the flower are in focus, nice.

Hi Ron, thanks for your comments! I wanted to get the antenna of the bug in focus, but didn't have enough aperture and made do with slowest possible shutter hand held. But it does make a nice mouse pad! :)
A flash ring really sounds like good investment.... hmmmm

very good composition, this bugs color and pattern is very worthy of note. Not a very common subject IMHO, the inclusion of the bug and its composition makes it a very attractive photo..
