About Not a rose in sight....

How come the title?

Well this is on the moors between Burnley and Hebden Bridge. One's in the magnificent county of lancashire, the Red Rose County, and the other in "the other place where they befriend sheep", the White Rose County.

This is just over the tops and on the descent to Hebden, there's a little bridge there - took it off that.

Usual tripod, filters, cable.....blah blah

That tree's a silhouette, it can go in that peoject then :-)

Nice atmosphere Good choice of exposure.I once went to Burnley on a train and we stopped at Todmorden. This must be the worst place in Britain. There was a howling gale and the rain was blowing horizontal- Funny how one remembers places isn't.
Great pic by the way.

Toddy - what a place!

the lancs/yorks boundry used to follow a stream I think, so it split the town in 2!

It's pulling it's socks up a bit now, becomming a lesbian area of all things!! Not the sexy ones though, more butch than Steve!!!

this shot's just in Lancs I think though it's such a secluded place there's no signs
