Awesome capture Janet. We call my daughter sis too. Love how it sounds. Love the eyes and the tones here. Well done.

Nice Janet!

Great choice; focus on the eyes... works very well..

BEAUTIFUL portrait! I love shallow the depth of field you used here (I like to use for my portraits, too). It creates a very interesting contrast between sharp and soft areas and naturally puts the attention on the eyes. Her leaning in pose and lovely expression combined with the nice soft light creates a very special and wonderful portrait. You know that I'm very much a fan of B&W, but regardless I think the choice to do B&W is a very good one.

Is she your daughter? She is a natural beauty.

What a beautiful portrait! Love the focus on her expressive eyes. Very well done. Love the b/w. Congrats!

Very well done. Great catch lights in her eyes make her really look alive and beautiful. Thanks for the comment on my image.

Thank You, Angela!
She has been 'Sissy' since day one and it takes me a minute or two to recall her real name.
I appreciate your comments!

As you have already realized I'm going through your entire portfolio again today :) I enjoy it each photo.
Yes your little ones are super cute, but I think Sis is a very beautiful girl, too and deverves to be featured more! :)
Maybe she doesn't like to have her photo taken that much any more?

Peek-a-boo where are you? You must still be having problems with time and allowances my sweet Janet as you go missing for longer and longer periods. I do hope we are not going to lose you altogether, that would be too much to bear.
This is a lovely composition. Sissy has the same huge eyes that run in the family. I love the pose with that tilt of the head and the relaxed expression. Perfect dof and excellent mono tones as usual. Hope to 'see' you again soon LHKVBW..me
