very nice composition. I would have removed the extras and cropped a little tighter and off center the flower but I realy like the coloration.
fun to play and see what you can come up with isnt it.

Thanks for you compliments. If you could have seen the whole photo, this is only about 10% of it. It was composed from a dozen tulips in a vase. Just started fooling around with feathering and leaving the background black. Kind of gave it a halo effect. Looking forward to seeing your new photos.

I almost wish that bit of leaf wasn't falling in front of the actual bud. However I enjoy the lighting, though I'd have liked to see it continue a bit more into that top right corner.. it's still enjoyable, and the tone is great as well, well done.
