First Avenue in Minneapolis... most people know it from Prince's Purple Rain movie. it's really a wonderful venue, LOTS of bands have played here in the past 30 years...i'll have to put up some more shots of this place.

fugazi!! excellent! didn't know they made it to the great white north ;^) pretty odd mix you got here. the van continuing the star motif but adding a splash of rasta is just perfect. great find, t.

yeah, Fugazi has been around a few times. i wanted to go check them out last time, but had something going. the tickets were only $5 or something ridiculous. do they still play out in DC a lot?

nah, they don't play at all. i think they broke up a few years back. btw, i've been working on my mmw collection guess what i found? i have the "1st ave." show from 04.17.2005. it's an audience but it's very clean. good show too. let me know if you want a copy.

i would like to wait in same van for seeing a lot of these bands and singers that it's long time i haven't seen anymore and i was used to in 80's
overall nina hagen ans violent femmes
