About A 1938 Ford Delux. The mid evolution of the every-man's car. Nice clean curves on a basic model. Converted to greyscale and toned in PS.

Classy! Love the highlights

Andre Denis   {K:55922} 8/23/2005
Thanks Pat,
Great design, considering it's just a "working man's" Ford.

these last two shots are beautiful, you are to the classics more then I am to birds, as you have a wonderful way of presenting them. I am enjoying them one after the other as I love cars, keep them coming !!

Andre Denis   {K:55922} 8/23/2005
Thanks Marcus,
That has to be one of the nicest compliments anyone has given me here.
I am really surprised with the results in the conversions to B&W. I seem to be getting a nice, creamy effect with the toning. One thing a lot of people may not like is my style of cropping. I mostly do it to edit unwanted extras. Sometimes it works out better than others. I will be posting many more old cars in the near future. I'm going to Live Rock Conn. for a Classic / Antique racing car meet the weekend before Labour Day.
Thanks again,
Andre

Ahhhhhhhhh (that's a scream). This HAS to be one of my all time favorite cars. The curves are just so romantic. Is this gorgeous or WHAT!? Oh I wish I could have one of these to drive. Beautiful conversion, and lovely lovely. I want to kiss it. Antonia

Thanks Toni,
This is one of my favourite B&W conversions. Something is working well! I'm very happy with this one.

The toning on this shot is out of this world! The colour version of this doesn't do a great deal for me but this is really quite something. The crop is perfect for me, the highlights really show up the curves in this one so well!

Thanks again Robin,
The light was perfect for these shots. About a half an hour before darkness.
