Very pretty landscape. I agree completely with you about the shadows. I think they should always be included and not cropped out. I like the tiny cloud and the bird within the shot.

From the dark foreground the picture just opens up into the sunlight across the water. Very nice. And of course the wader and the bird are nice touches too.

Lovely shot and "about", dear Alison. The shadows are maginificent and the bird in the sky and the man with his legs in the water complement each other.

Alison this is so beautiful...l love this, there's almost not a cloud in the sky, the bird is a nice touch as is the person on the beach, nice composition with the shoreline leading the eye to the line of trees...beautiful work...well done...:):)Linda

Alison, this is good! The curving shoreline, the portly man wading and the circling bird overhead and a couple of clouds all add to make this image a very good one. Congratulations.
