An unusual image. It seems to suggest something much more ominous than no swimming. I think that is because of the dramatic contrast of light and dark. The exposure is quite amazing--so difficult to render those extremes of light and dark.

I always hated the black flag, it totally kills the fun :)

In Egypt they put a flag beside each Beach to indecate the SEA status at that day
White : Its allow to swim
Red : its allow to swim but with care
Black : swimming is not allowed

Thank you for explaining that, in Australia we have a similar thing, we have 2 flags put in the area that is safest & you must swim in the area between those flags.
