Great news Darlene,

Tell her that we all are wishing for a speedy recovery and that your family is in our prayers.

Looks like you have another winner on your hands with this one, Looks great.

Darlene Boucher   {K:15649} 8/25/2005
I will tell her Joe, she's got a few more rounds of chemo and some radiation, but will proably handle it well, just the way she handled it 6 years ago. She 's a fighter and she's my hero, I just wish I could take her treatments for her,,,,,Tomorrow morning my husband is having surgery and my mom is having a pacemaker put in......One good thing, we're getting it all taken care of now. Keep up in the BIG prayers Joe and thanks so much! Darlene

This is a great solid composition and works wonderfully well in black and white. Great overall tones and love the subtle reflection in the wet sand. And hope all is well with your family.

YAY! the power of well wishes is kicking in!
This is a beautiful shot and am drawn to the tonal values.....love the smoothness to texture overall and like the reflections gleaming on the sand....simple comp but very appealing,Darlene...gotta be one of the straightest horizons i have ever seen!..LOL..
best regards,gayle

Nice b/w Darlene. Love those shots that make you feel good just looking at them. Glad to hear of Krystal's well being. My sister & I are keeping her in our prayers.

Andre Denis   {K:56160} 8/26/2005
This is a really nice B&W image Darlene!

I normally prefer the darker tones in B&W, but you nailed this one with light and bright perfectly! Dark just wouldn't suit this image. The mood is bright and so it should be.
ps Sorry to hear you and your family are going through so much currently. I hope your photography helps in some way to keep you strong.

Andre

This is really beautiful Darlene, the casual mood of Mason looking for goodies in the sand and the beautiful glow of the wet sand and those huge puffy clouds. Beautiful in B/W Alison

A very lovely photo. The composition is nicely framed to emphasize the subject while making her part of the natural environment. The seas and the sky compliment each other beautifully in b/w.

All best wishes,
--George
