About Although this caterpillar is beautiful, you want to stay clear of those spines. Definetly one of the more painful stings you will encounter with caterpillars.

Ronnie,
thank you so much for the link. It's the most incredible thing I've ever seen. Absolutely beautiful. Here at San Diego Wild Animal Park there is a nice butterfly display. I've seen the ones with the 'eyes'.......but NONE with these colors. Amazing for sure!
