Linda Bique   {K:73835} 8/29/2005
Another seamless work of art Carsten, perfectly exposed clouds and wonderful depth again with the layering of the clouds..do you get a lot of rain there? I recently found out that I'm 70% German and find myself interested in Germany and it's people. Very beautiful work...:):)

Marvelous juxtaposition...the verdant against the barren, and that dramatic skyscape above. Unusual and thought-provoking.

very dramatic (your speciality!). Both the sky and the ground are done perfectly, but to me it feels like they lost connection to each other. They seem to be two separate objects.

This one really sucks in the eye, Carsten!
Great drama!
Best regards, Chris

Alison Du Flon   {K:35633} 8/31/2005
This shot is very dramatic,I love the contrast between the parched brightly lit field and the impressive rolling clouds above. Beautifully done Carsten. Alison

Linda, thanks for stopping by ! So your liking of German landscapes is in your genes ;-) Sorry for delayed response, was a busy week...
Cheers
Carsten

Dirck DuFlon   {K:35779} 9/4/2005
This is just breathtaking, Carsten! I really like the low, low camera angle that brings the dry earth and straw into prominence, yet not detracting from the awesome sky! Very dramatic composition, indeed!
(I've been away from UF for a while, sorry to have not commented on so many wonderful shots from you! I tried your vertical pano technique, and I'll be posting the results soon :)
