this is to mark the arrival of spring and to recognise something to contrast the ABC news and the front page of most newspapers.......while I am at it, why do people who write news (they used to be called reporters) not recognise the difference between fact and opinion.......this here is a flower, as to it's quality, I am a reporter not a commentator.....must be late dear!!

Very impressive David. Love the focus, the details and the delicate flow of the petals, nice diagonal, you did a good job of focusing all the attention on the one flower....have no idea what your about is about, but this is a great image....maybe I better go turn ABC on....:):)

Yes, you have done well Larissa, is that a bit of PS work....this image lives on my Mac and has not been 'got at' by PS but I like what you have done to the blossom, cheers, david.

Hello Linda.....thank you for looking at the blossom, a bit of Spring, as for my 'about', well, why does your not knowing what I am going on about not surprise me!.....often I don't know myself....I think I am contrasting a thing of beauty, my opinion only,to the palsied, negative drivelling commentry commonly found on the radio news and in the newspaper most of which is not 'need to know' stuff and decrying the tendency of the modern journalist to not be able to distinguish between fact and opinion, persumably in the mistaken belief that somebody cares about what they think.....etc. better go before comment turns into short story....the fatal flaw in my argument is that I am, myself, offering an opinion!!!!!!!!!!cheers, david.
