Very nice Paul. Are you getting any work done during the day? lol ;)
Love the black and white, but, I do wish the top of her head was not cut off. I do like it though.

got to agree about the head, otherwise a beautiful portrait

Yeah, Paul's getting "work" done....Listen, since SA gonna get all those new guests from the east maybe Jenelle would like some "breathing room" and come out west for a stay. She looks like she'd make a great assistant (come on, this is the land of the Beach Boys - and we'll have Fun, Fun, Fun till Daddy takes the T-bird away.....) A 7 for Ms. Jenelle.....

Pretty lady,, nice expression and great light. I would suggest that she have her arms in front as the one on the left looks like it is cut off. If she had that on her leg and drawn back some it would raise that far shoulder and give her more action. Nice work. Don.

Nice window light but he smile overwhelms me.

Very beautiful portrait Paul, love the lighting too ... I've just bought the same camera and have so so much to learn now :-)

Best wishes,
Steve

I like the lighting on this one - she has lovely catchlights in her eyes, and it looks like you've really put her at ease in front of the camera - she looks very happy and natural and there's great eye contact.
I reckon if you ran the dodge tool over the outer bit of her hair in the top right corner it would add a little more interest to the dark space.
The only other thing I can think of is the colour of her t-shirt - in B&W it is a very similar tone to her skin - so perhaps either a lighter or darker one would add more contrast to the photo - without losing all that wonderful detail you've captured.

Paul, I really like this portrait of Jenelle. She has such a wonderful smile and great hair. I think the more recent one with the effects is cool, but this one shows off her beauty more!

Thanks for your honesty and I'd agree with that, Dale Ann. There's not any special effect needed to make Jen look beautiful; she's a natural.
