Nice perspective and angle... like the various elements in the composition... the image almost looks twisted, very nice effect...

another unusual angle, i like your post work, yeah really an apocalyptic view!

greetings

PAOLO

i like this shot Thilo, and its obvious that you use your wideangles well...if i was there i'd try to find an angle that would distinguish Poseidon's arm from the building (easy) and the lampost (not so easy) behind ;-)
keep shooting!

Great angle and great greyish mood......the only city in the world where smoke coming from the streets is attractive

I like the angle, the cold blues/greys, like impending doom. Very dramatic~

Hi Thilo,
There is a strange mingling of old and new in this one. The colour works in this one! very moody.

Hi Thilo, Very creative angle and perspective...I like your composition and the desaturation of everything but the red...great job of focusing attention on your subject....very well done...:):)

Love the angle (I almost broke my neck trying to get the angle of the picture..heheheheheh)... It is very original... A very dramatic mood created by the color... Poseidón arm pointing in the direction of the smocking chimeney... What is it trying to tell us??? Will we perish with the pollution??? Not a great ending for humanity... :(

Love it!!!

Cheers,

MaLuisa

This super - I love the color on this one - that arm is great - can you fill me in on how you came to this result with the color - K

Hi Kev,
sure. The main color effect comes from hue/saturation

red: +1/+28/-15
yellow: -5/-26/-12
blue: -18/+27/-13 (there are lots of blue in the original image)
the rest: unchanged
and master: -13/-55 (for a general desaturated look)

And finally, I used a x processing fake filter from color effects pro 2.

I guess the result varies from the source. my source was very blueish, and with the color sliders I managed to get the greenish toxic look.

hope that helps, Thilo

Yepp. That's cool. Good angle. A shame that forground and background are not more sperated. OK, I know about the physik of that kinda lens. Good work on the color.

Wonderful composition and tones. I like the aged look of the photo.

Very well seen Thilo.
