Very Good!

Fakhra O.   {K:5971} 9/5/2005
I liked this composition.
B&W gave depth to it.
It's kind of a story-telling photo and it's indeed meaningful.

Well done Ahmet.

A very nice idea in showing loneliness and calm, a powerful shot that i can realy enjoy it. the man at the end with this bike makes a story. great one. very well concept with this close door against the viewers and photographer! the sky enhance this atmosphere with the moody clouds. i like a bit more contrast, but anyway, this is just personal taste. i would suggest it in Donor forum for awards.

Very nice. The bike in the FG really does it for this pic. I'm not sure whether I like the man in the middle though, but I think I do. The threatening sky also works miracles.

Emrah Onal   {K:3627} 9/6/2005
harika bir kare derinlik ve uzaktaki figür cok iyi olmus..keske kapi söle eski islemeli demirli kapilardan biri olsaydi :)

Roger Williams   {K:83282} 9/6/2005
Yes, yes, I recall this setting if not this precise picture. A wonderful place for atmospheric B&W. Lovely, delicate gradations in that complex central area. Love the silouette of the bicycle--and the man in the middle distance. Oh, and the break in the clouds. There's SO MUCH to like about this! Straight to my favourites...

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 9/6/2005
Hi Baki,

yes, I know that image very well. And you're right: This is definitely one of my favourite images from you. nice work on the soft middle tones. gets a classic look by the work.

good one!

best wishes,
Thilo
