About Populonia is a wonderful place near Piombino. It's very famous for the Ethrusc ruins but also for the nice sea. You can arrive at this rock following a wild path in a forest where you can find the "Buche delle Fate".

Wow, 40x50cm, that must be a very nice print! The biggest I've made so far was 30x40cm...
Have you considered split-toning it to make it more lively?

Ciao Giuliano,

Hello Matej,
the "real" version on paper has more tones and details. The scanned version usually loose the queue of the tonal range and a little but of sharpness.
Thanks and bye

Very nice tones Giuliano, I like the rocks in the foreground leading the viewer into the image...I find the patterns on them amazing, some so completely uniform...the water splashing up is a nice touch, and I like the low angle you shot this from creating good depth in your image...I think a vignette might be nice on this one...hahahaha...thank you my dear...:):)

Giuliano Guarnieri   {K:34319} 9/5/2005
No Linda, please, no vignette at all ! :)))))

Frankly I tried to add it in PS but I preferred to keep it as is :)
I don't want become prisoner of vignettes again...

una marina molto bella ed interessante.
al mare è difficile rinunciare ai colori, farlo vuol dire maturità artistica e consapevolezza dei propri mezzi
