Incredible! I have never seen a white hibiscus (I need to get out more!). Had I known they existed, it would have been the flower of choice for my wedding...
So, the filter takes the edge off the white...? Wow, a fantastic job Linda. I definitely like it!

........flowers are hard to do Linda, everybody has a go at it and most miss the mark I fear, you, on the other hand, have produced a very pleasing composition, correctly placing the subject in one of the 'thirds' of the frame....really, I think my commentary's may be getting too pompous!!.....lovely shot, well, done. cheers, david.

Nice macro.. I like the perspective, good lighting and colors.. I think I would crop the image to only show the top flower....the other is a bit out of focus and distracts from the overall composition... nicely seen and captured.

hi, the hibiscus was my mom's fave flower...i don't often see the white ones out here...good dof,warmer whites and good details...if were mine,i would be tempted to rotate image until the stamens are upright...nice work,Linda!

Very nice!!! Quite hard to shoot a white flower in full sunlight.... but no sign of a blow-out!!! Super DOF, good use of the warming filter... (feeling hot... hot... hot, instead of... you're as cold as ice.... LOL) and great composition... well done!!

Beautiful shot, Linda! This definitely needs to be seen full screen to appreciate the creamy texture of the petals. You really nailed the exposure on this one mi amiga - all that white and no blown highlights! I don't think I've ever seen a completely white hibiscus, either - it looks like a fresh face turned toward the sun and just soaking it up! :) Un abrazote!
