Wow, wonderful image! Well composed..
Is it the evenly spaced waves going off to the right coupled with the wave lines leading you to the horizon - sort of creating two horizons - that make the ocean seem so "big" here? Great lighting on the grass also.

You have a special kind of color palette, this is a typical - and amazingly beautiful - example. I guess you add some kind of burning, with a large soft brush ? Anyway, superb seascape !

hi Carsten! yes i have used the burning tool and many other effects, like separate layers for colors and contrast in the sky, sea and grass, then erasing to unveil special areas. then i use to flatten all and continue to work on with other tools like curves and dodge for refining contrast and light, saturation/hues, and so on. thanks for your comment!

Ricardo, fala serio, tu removeu o filtro AA da camera, nao removeu? A foto ta linda, o mar atras da guarita nem se fala, ficou incrivel... essas graminhas me parecem infra vermelhas

Beleza Ricardo. Filtro AA eh o filtro Anti Aliase que, entre outras coisas, evita que os raios Infra Vermelhos passem em sua totalidade para o sensor. Sem esse filtro, todas as fotos ficariam bizarras, extremamente estranhas com ceus mais escuros, gramas mais claras, plantas mais claras, semelhante ao que ocorreu nessa foto :). Mas, hehe, pelo visto foi photo shops . Procura na net por infra red shot (ou aqui no usefilm, tem uma categoria especial). Eu tenho ateh uma foto que fiz quando eu tinha meu filtro Hoya R72 (esse faz o contrario do filtro AA, bloqueia um bom percentual dos raios nao infra vermelhos). Esse filtro que citei funciona com quase qualquer camera, depende apenas de quao forte eh o filtro AA interno da camera. Se for fraco, a eficacia do R72 eh extrema. Se for forte, eh minima. Muito interessante essa area da fotografia.

The lighting here is excellent. I love surf fishing and especially where no one else is around. Seeing this shot makes my pulse speed up with the thought of fishing that shore line. What a beautiful sky. Del.
