I suppose you would put sepia under B&W, as it's a darkroom process applied to B&W prints...I think.
Back when I had an old KISS one hour lab, I could develop a film made by ilford - ISO 400? - that could be developed with C41 process.
That was the typical color film process, seems like, but I don't remember for sure.
Anyhow, the prints would be made on color paper and would have a sepia "tone" to them, but the tone would vary - green, red, blue, brown. Seems like the age of the chemicals would change the tone.
So in that case I suppose you could put it under color...I have quite a few of those type prints that could be scanned someday.
Now the question arises over digital; if my camera is set on "color" and I convert it in a software program to B&W or Sepia, is it still a color shot?

I looked up the dictionary for your interesting question which I also have trouble with.......Monochrome - a picture done in one colour or different tints of this, or in B&W only. Now we know :)
