About "What is up above you will find below"

A saying that is often true - Number 1 in a series I am doing on the "Appearance of Rust".

All photos are taken on subjects in my backyard that is in a natural process of rusting. Most of it on an old painted 44 gallon drum. My aim is to find patterns, textures and colours that echoes possible scenes from this world and even the universe. So please take on your imaginary glasses and tell me if you see what I saw, or something different or ...nothing at all!

These are all at the super-macro level (magnification ration of 2.5:1). I used my Nikon 105 micro lense with a 2.5 Panagor macro converter. All settings on manual, the built-in flash on manual, full strength. Not tripod used. All photos are uncropped. All colours are as I found them - the only changes made were adjustments of brightness and contrast.

Imagine - you're sat in an abandoned car with a dirty windscreen in the middle of a wood. Local children out on a pic-nic spot you and aim what's left of their bolognaise sauce at you.

A bit like a volcano erupting, Joggie!
Nice idea and a dramatic start to the series.
Best regards, Chris

Another very pleasing abstract, Joggie. Again, I think you have described it correctly.
