Great photojournalism here. I like that this shot is in color, it adds a lot of feeling and reality to it. I really don't like the bright light at the top, its quite distracting to me. I cropped your image to give more focus to the subject. Hope you like...

*Certainly it gives more focus to the subject. thanks Joshua for your effort. but this shot with the steam of the lunch on the heater( that's going up ) needs vertical frame. also that window showes special life in rural and their architecture mood, although it is over expose!

What stands out to me in this image immediately is the lighting, it's wonderful, casting a beautiful glow throughout the image, the rich colors are just lovely, otherwise It has a kind of heavy and weary feeling, she seems to be burdened and weary...the fact that she's laying all the way over by the wall makes me feel that she feels very small, and out of the way, kind of sad really, wonderfully taken and presented dear Kiarang...Linda

Ah, the poor woman is probably exhausted from *making* lunch for everybody! I agree with Linda that the lighting in this is wonderful - it speaks of the heat and harsh sunlight that she looks to be seeking refuge from! Very nicely done, Kiarang!

J'aime particulièrement cette photo....elle est très puissante en symboles...imagine Kiarang..avec la radio, on se trouve bien en 2005...si on enlève la radio, on fait un plongeon jusqu'au début du 20ème siècle (1930) avec la lampe à pétrole comme seule signe de modernité...si on enlève la lampe à pétrole...on plonge dans un passé encore plus lointain.....2 signes pour un voyage dans le temps....c'est très fort....et la lumière est ....exceptionnelle....please...translate
