About Another view of Ming Sha Shan on the way back from my overnight trek in Dunhuang. Early morning light is largely responsible for the lovely colours, however, I did adjust the levels in PS only altering the red spectrum of light.

This area of China, Gansu, is in the middle of the Old Silk Road, containing a mixture of ethnicities only found in western China (Muslim, Buddhist, Han, among others). It really is/was a meeting place of civilizations.

James,
Has the same look and feel as red sand of Sahara Desert in Morocco.
I like your choice of giving the sky so much space and weight in this shot.
Well done.
Mark

If you appreciate 'constructive criticism', you'll have to do a better job of posting images in need of such. Looking through your portfolio, I have a hard time finding anything worthy of criticism instead of praise and congratulations. I think you have an excellent and unique eye. I will, however, continue viewing your photos, and maybe, someday, something will jump out at me in need of constructive input instead of adulation.
