Great light and colors. Love the mood and perspective here. Excellent work!

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 9/10/2005
Beautiful and mysterious, maybe waiting for a leprechaun? (Leprechaun = one of a race of elves in Irish folklore who can reveal hidden treasure to those who catch them).

Richard Gain   {K:386} 9/10/2005
Truly beautiful! I love the added depth that the mist gives. I can live without the deer - just the scene is enough to make this a wonderful picture.

Kiarang Alaei   {K:49417} 9/10/2005

Dave Stacey   {K:138015} 9/10/2005
A beautiful shot of this misty path, Uri! Even without the deer you have a great, moody image.
Dave.

Erik Shea   {K:1600} 9/10/2005
beautiful scene, well captured with the haze and everything. A deer in the back would have been nice, but they never do what you want.

Fabrice Gourbilleau   {K:58301} 9/10/2005
Nice perspective.. and great feeric atmosphere.
Excellent

Marvelous atmosphere here, Uri...wonderful image.

art mccaffrey   {K:5428} 9/10/2005
the deer is there, for you, you can't see it because it's just around the bend, . that's the beauty of this fantasy shot,. regards art,.

Anthony Lound   {K:6586} 9/11/2005
Lovely and evocative piece Uri. I sense you have been Photoshopping apropos the misty distance? The gradations look slightly too symmetrical and not quite convincing - am I right? Still, it's a beautiful composition and a winning one at that :)

Anthony

Beautiful capture of this fantastic scenery Uri,
it looks like a painting, very nicely composed with the path leading the eye to the unkown...
Many thanks for commenting on "Voices from the past"
I agree with you that the red tint on the ruins are a bit disturbing
Best regards

Anindya Maity   {K:6954} 9/15/2005
Moody and romantic,I love it.

Pankaj Arora   {K:3752} 9/16/2005
Wow! amazing shot , one of those which keeps u lingering for something, in your case it's a deer.

Hey it has been my observation on something that u may call as "psychology of a great landscpe photograph", even applies to portrait; some of the better photographs they have this "show some hide some" philosphy behind them which actually makes the viewer ask for more and also it leaves things open for interpretation.

Mark of a good picture and you sure have one here!

regards
Pankaj

Bruce Harper   {K:5305} 9/16/2005
Love the image just the way it is. I think it's better without the deer - this is more mysterious - what is in the mist just around the corner. With a deer in the image you would lose the mystery.

* James *   {K:20200} 9/17/2005
actually a deer or someone walking towards you would be nice. at any rate, this shot is very good. james

hi dear Uri
very calm and serene atmosphere...and also so mysterious....I adore it.
I wish that I were able to have it on canvas and hanging in my house... It's a thing of beauty.

From looking once more through your portfolio, it seems that you quite often name your photos after what cannot be seen in them and I find that very unique. This one I liked especially and put it into my favorites.
Thank you for your very kind comment on my "Fall, brown."
Best regards,
Rafi
